Oud Groevenbeek estate has grown from a farm to an extraordinary estate in the 19th and 20th centuries. With a beautiful villa and other characteristic buildings such as a gardener’s house, a small-scale North Veluwe farm, a wash house, a coach house, 106-year-old grape greenhouse and the water tower built as a folly. An estate with park forest with stately beech avenues, but also with ‘regular’ forest, fields and meadows, livestock, vegetable garden which made the estate at the time completely self-sufficient.
