Every February, new lambs are born to the Rheden Sheep flock that graze around the Posbank. This is a beautiful and busy time, when the lambs are taken care of and well taken care of together with their mother.
On April 10 (2nd Easter Day) it is again Lamb Day at the sheepfold in Rheden. We show the new flock. We tell about the sheep, how the lambs are born, what we do with the wool and how useful our sheep are.
Lamb Day is an educational and fun day for children and the elderly. You can eat, drink, listen to the brass band, face painting, all kinds of children's activities, or just watch the lambs. You can also adopt a lamb. That costs â'¬ 25.00 and with that you get the birth certificate.
